Information we collect

Information you send us. When you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, or book a meeting through a calendar link, we receive what you share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
Information stored only in your browser. The website remembers your theme (light or dark) and language choice in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Visit statistics. We count page views, which pages are visited, the time of the visit, the approximate time spent on a page and whether a mobile or desktop device was used. We do this without cookies and without storing IP addresses: a visitor is recognised only within a single day through an anonymous code that is reset daily and cannot be traced back to you. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.
Technical information. Our hosting and security provider processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the website can be delivered and protected against abuse.

The website does not have user accounts. Our on-site tools, such as the Ask Adam assistant and the ROI calculator, work in your browser, and what you type into them is not stored by us. If you choose to send results to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive what you send.

How we use information

To reply to your enquiry, arrange demos and meetings, and provide the services you ask for.
To keep the website secure, available and working properly.
To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful so we can improve the website. The total number of views is shown publicly at the bottom of the website.
To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Third-party services

Our hosting and security provider delivers and protects the website.
A web font service supplies the website's fonts, so your browser connects to that provider to load them.
Email, WhatsApp, phone and calendar providers carry the messages and bookings you choose to send us.
Social networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X) are only reached if you click their links. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.

How long we keep information

Visit statistics are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted. We keep enquiry and business correspondence for as long as needed to respond, deliver our services and meet legal obligations, and then delete it or keep it only as required by law.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent you have given. To make a request, email hello@megalodomai.com. You can clear the website's saved preferences at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, your visits are not counted.

Grievance contact

If you have a concern or complaint about how we handle your personal data, write to our grievance contact at hello@megalodomai.com with the subject "Privacy grievance". We will acknowledge your message and work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is available for such complaints.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children.
